Halloween Party, Hippie Day & Pillow Case Dresses

I have been stitchin' away this week! I have made several Halloween shirts, Hippie shirts, and I finally finished two pillow case dresses. Poor Maggie Kate has been waiting oh, maybe a month for me to put the hem in her dress.

The kids have had Red Ribbon Week at school. Today was Hippie Day. Mallory didn't have anything to wear that was "hippie" so I made her the peace & love shirt. I hadn't ever stitched anything out of my peace set. I thought it turned out pretty cute!  Maggie Kate didn't dress up in hippie fashion today because it was her Halloween party. She and her friend Caroline wanted to dress alike in their witch boots shirt.

Max even got a new shirt stitched out for him this week. I love the spiked football! He has blue pants with green stripes down the side to match...Wal-Mart, baby! Love it!

Field Trip To Tremont

Mallory just returned Friday from a 3 day field trip to Tremont. Tremont was selling T-shirts in advance. Mallory wanted one, but I said no. I said no because, when Meredith (our oldest) went we bought her one and it never left her drawer. Meredith never wore it! I was not about to waste money on another one of those shirts! Mallory suggested I make her one, so that's just what I did! She loved it!
